My wife and I decided that we needed an old truck so we started looking on ebay.
We saw this 1953 Ford F-100 in Claire, Michigan. We purchased this truck and
drove  it to our home in Irvine Kentucky. Drove the truck for two months and
decided to restore it. We tore the truck completely down.

Chopped the top five inches, put one piece power windows, ac,ultra leather
interior 4-bar, 10 bolt rear end, 700 R transmission, 10 inch 3500 stall converter,
small block  Chevy Monte Carlo front clip suspension, alum cross flow radiator,
fiberglass tilt  front end. The paint is Sherman Williams Hot Rod Red.

We started on this 1953 Ford F-100 pickup in 2003 and finished it 2006.
We entered this truck in 31 shows and got 29 trophies.

We decided to tear truck down again in fall of 2006 and redo it.
We re chopped top 2 inches in front, installed Vintage Glass-smoked
Put Rod Door seats and interior out of ultra leather. Added a new bed,
back fenders, and new bed kit, new lights and brackets, The fairland fiberglass
front end works off  electric actuators. Put on a Fatman frame stage 3 bought
from Danny's Hot Rod,  polished coil over springs and shocks, four bar rear
suspension. It has a new 9 inch  ford rear end 350 gears 17x9 old ss craugers,
Bf Goodrich tires. Repainted truck with  Sherman Williams HOt Rod Red. It has
four coats of paint and six coats of clear sanded with 1200 and buffed and waxed.
Also has a CD player with a 7 inch monitor  Ididit steering column and shift
C 6 trany with 2500 stall 351 block bored 40 over  makes it 360 cubic inch with
Cleveland heads. Old nascar pattern motor.
This truck was restored at home in a two car garage.

So far after this last rebuild we have shown  6 times and received 6 trophies.
